INJURIES

Headed to Memphis The Magic traded Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks and one first-round pick swap to the Grizzlies on Sunday in exchange for Desmond Bane, Shams Charan...
Impact Caldwell-Pope signed a two-year, $44.38 million deal with the Magic last offseason, which included a team option for 2026-27, but his lone season in Orlando didn't go as planned. The veteran posted his fewest points per game (8.7) and shot below 34.5 percent for the first time since 2015-16. Given his salary, Caldwell-Pope should see considerable playing time next season, but Memphis will likely stay busy this offseason in an effort to rejuvenate a stagnant franchise.

Impact Caldwell-Pope had a miserable postseason against Boston's defense, shooting 26.7 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from beyond the arc. He was a useful role playing in the regular season, however, appearing in 77 games with 8.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 29.6 minutes while shooting 43.9 percent from the field. Caldwell-Pope will be back with Orlando and is owed $21.6 million in 2025-26, and he holds a player option for 2026-27.
APRIL 30 • ROTOWIRE
Impactful defensive presence Caldwell-Pope supplied eight points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals over 32 minutes during Sunday's 107-98 loss to Boston in Game 4...
Impact Despite struggling in the scoring department during this first-round series, Caldwell-Pope can still get it done defensively, which he proved in Game 4. The veteran guard recorded a team-high two steals and two blocks Sunday. However, it wasn't enough to hold off Jayson Tatum and company, who went on to take a commanding 3-1 series lead with the series now heading back to Boston for Game 5.
APRIL 28 • ROTOWIRE
Poor outing in loss Caldwell-Pope produced three points (1-9 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and four rebounds in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 109-100 loss to Boston in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern...
Impact Caldwell-Pope has struggled mightily offensively to begin Orlando's series against Boston, averaging 4.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 assists in 35.0 minutes across the first two contests. Caldwell-Pope has shot just three of his 14 field-goal attempts and two of his 10 three-point attempts.

Impact Caldwell-Pope didn't make much of an impact offensively in Game 1 in Boston, scoring just six points in the loss. However, the veteran guard was able to make his presence felt defensively, with a team-high three steals. Unfortunately for Orlando, it was nowhere near enough to help get the best of the defending NBA champions, as the Celtics went on to win by 17 points.
APRIL 21 • ROTOWIRE
Cleared to play Caldwell-Pope (knee) is available for Sunday's game against the Hawks.
Impact Caldwell-Pope and Wendell Carter (hip) will suit up, but Franz Wagner (knee) and Paolo Banchero (ankle) will not. Caldwell-Pope missed Friday's win in Indiana after playing only seven minutes against Boston on Wednesday, so it's unclear how many minutes the sharpshooter will get in the regular-season finale.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable to play Sunday Caldwell-Pope (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Impact Caldwell-Pope missed Friday's win over Indiana due to a right knee strain. He could be held out of Sunday's regular-season finale since the Magic are locked in as the seventh seed in the East. Gary Harris and Cole Anthony would stand to see an increase in playing time if Caldwell-Pope is sidelined.

APRIL 11
Iffy for Friday Caldwell-Pope (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pacers.
Impact Caldwell-Pope picked up his knee injury Wednesday against the Celtics and was unable to return, and the questionable tag indicates that he's day-to-day. If Caldwell-Pope is unable to play, the Magic could turn to Cole Anthony and Gary Harris.
APRIL 10 • ROTOWIRE
Won't return Wednesday Caldwell-Pope has been ruled out for the rest of the game on Wednesday due to a knee issue.
Impact Caldwell-Pope logged only seven minutes on the floor Wednesday before being ruled out. The veteran guard finished with two rebounds. Orlando will likely have to turn to Cole Anthony and Gary Harris to help shoulder the load in the backcourt for the rest of the game against Boston.
APRIL 10 • ROTOWIRE
Displays two-way play in win Caldwell-Pope ended with 13 points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five assists, three rebounds, two steals and one block over 33 minutes in Thursday's 109-97 win over Washington.
Impact Caldwell-Pope had his hands on multiple areas of Thursday's contest, recording a team-high-tying pair of steals while finishing second among Magic players in assists and ending as one of four players with a double-digit point total. Caldwell-Pope has been hot as of late, reaching double figures in scoring in three straight contests while recording at least two steals in two straight appearances.
APRIL 4 • ROTOWIRE
Season high in triples Tuesday Caldwell-Pope posted 23 points (8-11 FG, 7-9 3Pt), three assists, three steals and one rebound across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 116-105 win over the Spurs.
Impact Caldwell-Pope logged at least 20 points for just the fifth time on the season, marking his first 20-plus-point performance since Jan. 21. The veteran guard was extremely efficient from the field while recording a season-high seven three-pointers, and he has shot 60.0 percent from downtown over his last five appearances. Caldwell-Pope also tied the game-high mark in steals, racking up multiple swipes for the 27th time in 73 regular-season appearances.
APRIL 2 • ROTOWIRE
Starts second half Caldwell-Pope (face) checked back into the game to start the third quarter of Tuesday's game versus the Hornets, Mason Williams of SI.com reports.
Impact Caldwell-Pope is set to play out the remainder of Tuesday's contest after taking an elbow to the face in the second quarter. In total, the veteran guard missed just over five minutes of action against Charlotte.
MARCH 26 • ROTOWIRE
Exits to locker room Caldwell-Pope sustained an apparent facial injury and exited to the locker room in the second quarter of Tuesday's matchup against the Hornets, Mason Williams of SI.com reports.
Impact Caldwell-Pope took an elbow to the face from an opposing player before leaving for the locker room. If the veteran swingman is unable to return, Caleb Houstan and Gary Harris are candidates for a bump in minutes the rest of the way.
MARCH 26 • ROTOWIRE
Muted performance in win Caldwell-Pope had nine points (3-6 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes during Monday's 118-106 victory over the Lakers.
Impact Caldwell-Pope's streak of four straight games with double-digit points came to an end Monday. The veteran guard has fared well overall in 10 March appearances, posting averages of 10.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.8 three-pointers on 53.2 percent shooting from the field and 45.0 percent from beyond the arc.
MARCH 25 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Caldwell-Pope will return to action after missing Orlando's previous contest for rest purposes. The veteran guard should reclaim his starting spot from Tristan da Silva against Cleveland.

Won't play against Minnesota Caldwell-Pope is out for Friday's game versus the Timberwolves.

MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
Iffy against Minnesota Caldwell-Pope is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Timberwolves due to rest purposes.
Impact Caldwell-Pope hasn't suffered any injury but could sit out the second leg of Orlando's back-to-back Friday. With Cole Anthony (toe) also questionable, Anthony Black, Gary Harris and Cory Joseph could all receive increased playing time against Minnesota.
MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
What Jamahl Mosley, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Wendell Carter Jr. Said After Magic's Loss to Bulls ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic dropped their fifth straight contest Thursday night, falling to the Chicago Bulls 125-123.
MARCH 7 • SI.COM
Productive again despite loss Caldwell-Pope recorded 19 points (8-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals over 32 minutes during Thursday's 125-123 loss to Chicago.
Impact Caldwell-Pope scored at least 12 points for the third straight game, continuing to provide the Magic with an alternative option on the offensive end. While the recent production has been nice, the same cannot be said for the team record. Orlando has lost five consecutive games, two of which came to the lowly Raptors.
MARCH 7 • ROTOWIRE
Scores 12 points Tuesday Caldwell-Pope recorded 12 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 114-113 loss to Toronto.
Impact Caldwell-Pope scored 12 points for the second straight game, a welcome sight after he had recorded single digits in 16 straight games. The Magic continue to struggle after a promising start to the season, having now lost 11 of their past 16 games, including each of the past four. Although Caldwell-Pope has a consistent role, his impact has been mediocre, at best.
