2025 Gold Cup Bracket: Mexico, USA Renew Rivalry For Sunday's Final

Updated Jul. 6, 2025 5:31 p.m. ET

A new chapter will be written in the USA-Mexico rivalry as the two teams will play in the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup final.

The two most successful teams in the tournament's history will now play for the title on Sunday in Houston, Texas (7 p.m. ET, FOX). It's now the eighth time these two teams have faced each other with the trophy on the line.

Mexico, as repeat champions, will be looking for its 10th Gold Cup to extend its record for most titles. But the USMNT will be eyeing its eighth championship in this tournament after last winning it in 2021.

With the Gold Cup being the final competitive tournament for the region before the 2026 World Cup (co-hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.), Sunday's finale will be both teams' last shot at a trophy before next year.

Here's how the road to the final played out.
